Garden Picnic in Olana’s Flower Garden
Saturday, June 6
Join Julie Cerny, education director and garden manager at The Sylvia Center at Katchkie Farm in Kinderhook, this Saturday from 1-3pm in Olana’s flower garden for a garden picnic! Julie will present an afternoon of delicious recipes perfect to take along on a picnic and will introduce participants to a variety of herbs and their medicinal values and purposes; eat, learn, and collect new ideas. Olana is set on a couple hundreds acres, with forests and hiking trails that offer stunning views of the Hudson River.

Join the Hard Cider Revival

On Friday, June 12, Hudson’s Café Le Perche will be partnering with the Campaign for the New Hudson Area Library to offer a special night featuring exemplary American and French hard ciders. 5 hard ciders will be available along with 4 special entrée pairings. 10% of all sales benefit the Library. The Fourth Annual Basilica Screenings Program

Artists on Art: River Crossings Exhibition Tours

Artists on Art Tours are offered at Olana every Saturday from June 13 through November 1, 2015. This special tour of Olana is led by contemporary artist guides who live and work in the Hudson Valley region. Each will focus on specific rooms, landscapes, art, and objects of their choosing, making this very different from a traditional house tour. Artists offer a unique lens with which to “read” an artist’s home & landscape; join us as they share concepts and connections that inspire them. Tickets purchased online or at Olana’s Museum Shop. Hudson River Exchange 3rd Annual Summer Market
The Hudson River Exchange brings together and creates spaces to showcase the best of the Hudson Valley artisans, Vintage finds, food and live music. The Hudson River’s long history of bringing people, ideas, and commerce together, inspired the Exchange. At this annual market, set on the park by the Hudson River, the Exchange will be promoting makers and collectors of diverse creative disciplines, providing platforms for commerce outside of individual studios, workshops, farms, and kitchens.

Iron Cigar Depot Cigar & Local Distillery Night
