Sunday, December 1

Basilica’s FARM + Flea

Celebrate small businesses and find the perfect Christmas gift for your special someone. This is a quality marketplace with tons of regional makers, farmers and vintage collectors. There will be shopping, music, workshops and delicious foods to satisfy any appetite. Head to Basilica’s FARM + Flea to kick off your Hudson Holiday festivities.

Saturday, December 7

Winter Walk

The Hudson Holiday season truly gets underway during Winter Walk. In its 17th year, this Hudson Opera House event is one you don’t want to miss. Hudson’s mile-long commercial district, also known as Warren Street, will transform into a winter wonderland. There will be twinkling lights, stilt walkers, African drummers, carolers, hula hoopers, live reindeer, horse-drawn wagons, and of course brightly decorated shops. Dance to the tunes of live music and taste delicious food from the many vendors. It all culminates in a fireworks display at 8:25 p.m. Restaurants and businesses will stay open late.

Saturday, December 7

Omi Candlelight Concert

Celebrate the holiday season with a Candlelight Concert and Reception. Be entertained by acclaimed musicians and Music Omi Alums, vocalist Fay Victor and guitarist Anders Nilsson. They make up The ExPosed Duo. The concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in Omi’s Visitors Center. It’s located at 1405 County Route 22 in Ghent, New York. Hudson-Chatham Winery will provide sparking wine for a reception that follows.

Colonial Nutcracker at Paramount Hudson Valley

Nothing says the holidays like the Nutcracker! This production is a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. It comes with a red-coated mouse army and of course, an enchanted Nutcracker prince!

Wreath Fineries at the Wineries

This holiday tradition is a festive way to get in the holiday spirt and create great memories. Simply choose a winery as your starting point, go there and check in with your ID and event ticket. You’ll receive a grapevine wreath, an ornament from the starting winery and one from the wine trail. You’ll also receive a souvenir glass to use to sample the handcrafted wines of the Hudson Valley. When you purchase a ticket, you’ll receive a wine sample and tapas tasting of a holiday treat at each of the 14 wineries. But that’s not all. You will be given an ornament from each one you visit along the trail.
