Are you ready to eat, drink and discover the deliciousness of the Hudson Valley? Good news for you – Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is back next month! This hit foodie event is set for November 4-17 and promises to be better than ever.
Hudson Valley chefs are preparing to fire up their kitchens and create unique, exceptional cuisine at a price that’s going to be tough to resist. The list of participating restaurants includes everything from casual bistros to fine dining. Here’s a list of the 150 restaurants in the mid and lower Hudson Valley you can choose from.
There are several New York counties represented during the annual event, including Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster and Columbia. Connecticut residents are also invited to take part.
In Columbia County, you can dine at The Greens on Copake Lake. A brilliant dining experience awaits you at The Greens. It’s a restaurant and bar at Copake Country Club that serves finely prepared and innovative American cuisine as well as club fare. Lunch is served daily from 11 a.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. They serve Monday through Thursday until 8:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 9:30 p.m. Sunday Brunch starts at 11 a.m. and dinner is served until 8 p.m. Click here to make reservations.
You’ll have the chance to enjoy lunch or dinner at affordable prices, while you discover the bounty of the Hudson Valley. You don’t have to worry about passes, tickets or coupons. Simply call the restaurant of your choice and reserve your table. Some restaurants do use Open Table to take reservations. Although walk-in guests are appreciated, the restaurants cannot guarantee they will be accommodated during this busy two week period.
In addition to excellent food, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week links farmers, chefs and local purveyors. It supports the local economy and showcases why the Hudson Valley has become a world renowned culinary destination. Approximately 200,000 diners visit the valley each year to dine at the participating restaurants.
For 14 days, you can enjoy lunch at one of the area’s best restaurants for $20.95, or pay $29.95 for dinner. That price does exclude beverages, tax and tip. Diners can opt to order off the regular menu at all restaurants, rather than the pre-fixe Hudson Valley Restaurant Week menu.
You can also win by dining out in the Hudson Valley! Complete a survey online after dining at one of the participating restaurants and you could win prizes from The Valley Table, Adams Fairacre Farms, and restaurants. The Valley Table, the magazine of Hudson Valley farms, food and cuisine that is headquartered in Newburgh, New York, is presenting Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, but there are many more sponsors.
