Sunday, Sept. 1

Hooley on the Hudson Irish Festival

Talk about a tradition in Kingston’s historic Rondout Waterfront District. The free, daylong festival will feature live music, step dancing, cultural exhibits, food and beverages.

Saturday, Sept. 7

Drum Boogie Festival

This world-class music festival is coming to Woodstock, New York. It’s a free, family friendly event with an incredible lineup. There will be food vendors on site and diverse styles of music, dance and voice from around the world.

Thursday, Sept. 12-Sunday, Sept. 15

Catskill Mountain Thunder Motorcycle Festival

Stunt shows, rodeo games and live music will take over this annual event. It’s the largest motorcycle festival in Upstate New York. Onsite lodging is available.

Taste of New Paltz

The 23rd annual Taste of New Paltz will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. You don’t want to miss out on the Hudson Valley wine, beer, live entertainment and activities for children. Parking is free, but only a limited number of tickets for the event are available in advance.

Saturday, Sept. 28

The Cauliflower Festival

In its tenth year, the Cauliflower Festival will offer rides, a petting zoo, traditional music, artists and of course a lot of cauliflower! Local farmers will driver their tractors along Main Street into the fairgrounds in Margaretville at 11:30 a.m. The festival will be held at the Village of Margaretville Pavilion.

Saturday, Sept. 28-Sunday, Sept. 29

Hudson Valley Garlic Festival

A wide variety of garlic treats will be offered up at the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival. It all takes place in beautiful Saugerties, at the foot of the Catskill Mountains on the Hudson River. Cantine Field does not allow pets or smoking.

Saturday, Oct. 12

Gavin’s 6th Annual Guinness Oktoberfest

Here you’ll find great food, live music and of course, Guinness. Promotions will run throughout the weekend. It starts at noon and the live Irish music runs all day.

Hudson Valley Dance Festival

Held in Catskill, New York, the Hudson Valley Dance Festival offers a stunning display of world-class dance. Step inside the historic 19th century warehouse at Catskill Point where the Hudson River and Catskill Creek are joined. It starts at 5 o’clock.

Saturday, Oct. 19

Wine and Brew Festival at Hunter Mountain

Fine wines and microbrews from all over the Hudson Valley and New York State will be available for tasting at the annual Wine and Brew Festival this October. It is a free event, but there’s a charge associated with sampling. And it is not just about tasting. Zipline tours will be available and the Skyride will be in operation. Be sure to check out all the great vendors.

Sunday, Oct. 20

Wings, Brew & Chili Festival

This all day event is new to Hunter Mountain. It will feature gourmet wings, brews and chili, along with a juried competition.
